Dr. Clara Bonanad
Cardiologist
Cardiologist with clinical experience at Valencia Clinical University Hospital since 2008. She holds a PhD in Medicine with Cum Laude honours and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Valencia. She currently serves as Vice President of the Valencian Society of Cardiology and Board Member of the Clinical Cardiology Association of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC). In the field of research, she is a member of CIBER-CV and Principal Investigator of the European JACARDI project at the INCLIVA Foundation. At Clínica Magnasalud, her practice focuses on vascular risk prevention, cardiac imaging diagnosis, and the comprehensive treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Víctor Girbes
Cardiologist
Valencian cardiologist originally from Algemesí, trained as a cardiologist at Dr. Peset University Hospital, with more than 14 years of professional experience at Dr. Peset Hospital, Lluís Alcanyís Hospital in Xàtiva, and Valencia General University Hospital. Specialised in clinical cardiology, vascular risk assessment, management of cardiovascular risk factors, and control of cholesterol and other dyslipidaemias. Since 2015, he has been president of the Valencian Heart Institute (INSVACOR), a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives and cardiovascular health of patients who have suffered a heart attack by encouraging physical activity, healthier nutrition, and better cardiovascular care.

Diagnostic tests
Clínica Magnasalud’s equipment allows the following tests to be performed:
- Electrocardiogram (ECG): Measures the electrical activity of the heart and helps detect arrhythmias or signs of ischaemia.
- Colour Doppler echocardiogram: Ultrasound study that evaluates the size, function, and valves of the heart in motion.
- Exercise stress test (ergometry): Assesses the heart’s performance during controlled physical exercise.
- Holter ECG: Continuous monitoring of heart rhythm to detect arrhythmias that may not appear during a consultation.
- Cardiology check-up: Includes review of medical history, physical examination, and medical report. Depending on the patient, it may also include an electrocardiogram or blood tests.
