Radiology is a medical specialty that uses imaging to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries. Its value lies in the ability to detect abnormalities in bones, organs, and soft tissues, allowing for accurate diagnosis and timely treatment. Radiology is a diagnostic tool that must be used by a qualified physician to interpret the results and make an accurate diagnosis.
What pathologies can radiology diagnose?
At Clínica Magnasalud we have equipment for performing x-rays and ultrasounds, which allows us to diagnose a wide variety of pathologies that affect different parts of the body:

- Chest: pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, heart disease (enlarged heart, heart failure), emphysema.
- Abdomen: intestinal obstruction, kidney stones, peptic ulcers, intestinal perforations, abdominal tumors.

Ultrasound screenings
- Digestive system: liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, urinary bladder, small intestine, large intestine.
